In a way, animals are looking worse than we are. Part of that is because of people. We tear up trees, pull oil from the earth, and hunt animals, sometimes for fun. This affects animals in such a way that more than 99% of the four billion species that have evolved on earth are now gone. At least 900 species have gone extinct in the last five centuries. Up to one million plants and animals face extinction based on human activities, many within decades. at this rate, by the year 3000, possibly up to 9790000 animal species will be extinct. Please, do your best to preserve nature. You can do it.
