Trees

Trees are an important part of our Earth. They suck up carbon dioxide from the air we exhale and release it as brand-new oxygen. However, the problem trees are facing is us.

Logs in Forest

Destruction for no Reason

Many everyday things are made of wood. After all, it can be used to make lots of different things; desks, floors, cabinets, houses, you name it. The problem with this is that logging industries around the globe sell so much wood that it is hard to figure out how to use it. Making houses for the homeless and using wood for fires is understandable, but carving things for decoration or for show is just a waste of a tree. Cutting down trees mean less breathable air. As I said in the first paragraph, they take the air that we exhale and turn it into new air. They also help stop air pollution that way, so the more trees cut down equals air pollution and to much carbon dioxide in the air. Fortunately, there are some organizations that plant trees for every dollar that you donate. one of these organizations is called #Teamtrees. If you donate a dollar, they plant a tree. If you donate one hundred dollars, they plant one hundred trees. One hundred mature trees all together can suck up 2100 kilograms of carbon dioxide in one year. Not only is it cheap, but it also is good for the planet!
