EVENTS
Every year we have a series of events on our website. One of them takes place on November 28, where we will raise money to donate to organizations such as JIRP - Juneau Icefield Research Project and VINS - Vermont Institute of Natural Science. Another is on Earth day, around April 22. It includes fundraisers #Teamseas and #Teamtrees - you may have heard of them. Our fundraisers are always open though, if you want a chance to change the world.
The Juneau Icefield Research Program (JIRP) is a non-profit dedicated towards training and inspiring future leaders to make a positive difference in their communities through science and science education. We have a very strong focus on climate change in our research and education/training program. We are also supporting students from families that are low income or students who will be the first in their families to attend college. The low-income student program is new so we will need other financial support to be successful.
